Electrical – Control Engineer

I currently work in CAPS as a Research Assistant. I created model for the teleoperating control system and SBW [ Steer By Wire] , DBW [ Drive By Wire] in Autonomous Go Kart [ Prototype for Autonomous Car].

My current research is on Delay compensated Teleoperation and Autonomous Systems using real-time devices [Gamepad, Gosling, ROS] as well as in a simulation environment [ Matlab & Simulink ]

After 4+ years of Industrial experience in TCS as an Embedded Engineer, I am pursuing a Master’s in Electrical Engineering [ thesis], majorly my study focuses on control systems and AI/ML. Being a research assistant working on multiple project involving my Embedded experience.

For any given control system, the mathematical model is derived and implemented in both the real-time system as well as in Matlab – Simulink. The output has been recorded and Analyzed.

Implementation is one of my strengths, as my lab consists mostly of robotic and electrical vehicles. All of our vehicle works on Linux OS, and the communication happens over ROS firmware. Initially worked on ROS-1 Melodic later updated to ROS-2 Humble and Micro-ROS.

As my research is completely on Teleoperation systems, I have a keen interest in Autonomous systems, to implement this, incorporate Lidar, camera, and IMU with ROS.

Embeeded Engineer

At TCS, after a series of reviews and seeing my work and skills, I was moved into the R&D Department in my first few months.

Embedded

– Developed IoT projects focusing on indoor mapping using my skillsets of Python, ML, Raspberry Pi, and Communication Module
– Used Atomic Pi in implementing an autonomous boat

Skills: Arduino C, Embedded C, RPi, Python

Technical Consultant

At Smazee, I worked as a mentor and helped the team to achieve in making better embedded projects for Markets

My role was mainly to contribute to my University Project Kaksa, using their resources and helping the team as they need support in understanding

Kaksa

– Envisioned the project from Future Blackboard to Kaksa- a smart board
– Did Research on feasibility, provided improvement in logic, and architectured the algorithms
– Implemented the Voice Over Command, Stokes Mapping Module
– Supported with Hardware issues and embedded Logic
